Thank you. I often think people would concentrate better on being Christian here and now if revelation had never been written.....but what you've said here has been useful. Pause for thought.
Reply from JPN: Hi Sam, I'm glad it is helping change your mind! God didn't make any mistake with Revelation. It...
Sums up the entire story and prophecies of the Bible Gives a great warning to unbelievers to turn and come take the water of life without cost Encourages believers to live with eternity and the soon return of Jesus in mind - as well as giving hope for the life to come! *Hopping down off soap box* |

Calling our Savior by which name
|
Yahweh has led me to proclaim to honor His Son by calling Him by His G_d Given Name Yeshua. Yahweh is calling to His children to come out of her and follow His Ways not man's ways.
Reply from JPN: Hi, agree that we should follow God's ways and not man's. With that in mind, Jesus taught believers to call God by the same name that He did - 'Father'. What a privilege for every child of God! As to our Lord's name, it is Yeshua in Hebrew, Gesù in Italian, Chúa Giêsu in Vietnamese, and yes, Jesus in English. We are obviously free to use His Hebrew name, but if we were meant to only use Hebrew, then God hasn't told us and obviously no one told the God-ordained writers of the New Testament, who wrote in Greek and didn't use the Hebrew Yeshua, but His name in Greek - Iēsoûs! Blessings!

Studying all the Revelation messages

Thank you for the messages provided. They are a great help! I have 1 question. In the world I hear many common themes about biblical facts that need verification. Many people teach that the first 3.5 years of the tribulation are of fake peace. Is this true? Does that mean there are 3.5 years between the breaking of the first and second seal? Thank you for your time. Any clarification will be valuable!
Shane Reply from JPN: Hi, glad you are enjoying the Revelation messages. The Bible doesn't state specifically that the entire first 3 1/2 years are a time of fake peace. We know it will certainly start that way (Rev 6:2, 1 Thes 5:3) but peace is taken from the world quite quickly (Rev 6:4). I don't believe this will last long at all for the world. Sudden destruction will come. But for Israel it is a little different. They will believe they have come into peace with their covenant with the Antichrist (Dan 9:27). They will see this like making a 'covenant with death' (Isa 24:14-15) to keep them safe and they will think, for the most part, that they are immune from destruction. Yet this will all change at the mid-point when the Antichrist declares himself to be God in the rebuilt Jewish temple. Jesus said at this point they need to run! Their covenant will be annulled! (Matt 24:15-16, Isa 25:18) So I assume what you have heard was in context of the nation of Israel. I wouldn't personally call it 3 1/2 years of fake peace as it will still be a crazy time on this planet - but for Israel, compared to the 2nd 3 1/2 years, it will be time when they feel as confident and secure as they can in such a time.

As we, the Body and Bride of Christ, continue to watch and pray, “MARANATHA,” I, personally, am fighting spiritually everyday against the forces of evil that abound even in my own household. I am weary, but He is strong and so merciful and wonderful! I encourage everyone to keep holding on and keep looking up! This coming week will surely be hard and chaotic! Be prepared and covered in His full armor until He calls us home!
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah not easy. But God is faithful and I'm pleased to see that you have experienced that, saying the He is strong, merciful and wonderful. Praise God! May He continue to protect and undertake for you!

Thank you for this study. I have a jehovahs witness I work with and I wanted to remind myself that I was saved but she was trying to convince me I wasn't.
Reply from JPN: I trust it gave you reassurance of salvation by grace through faith. I wouldn't be listening to JW's. They have the same issue that Paul wrote about:
Rom 10:3-4 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. (4) Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. |

Jesus' name in Genesis to Revelation
|
At my regular Bible Study at my small church this morning, the pastor read a list of names that Jesus is called from Genesis to Revelation. I was intrigued so I Googled it and your website site up. I am very thankful that it did because the information provided is very detailed and I am challenged to read and review all the references made. This is an great way to learn, understand and appreciate who HE is. Now I will challenge myself and add another column to indicate who HE is to me. Thank you for your insightful information.
Be Well. Be Safe. Be blest! Your sister-in-Christ, Winsome Reply from JPN: Hi, the column for who He is to you is a great idea! And good on you for digging a bit deeper into what you heard from your Bible study. That is what we all should do. Blessings to you too!

Just happened across your website. We are living in some strange times. Reading the Bible at times is hard to understand the true meaning of the verse. I now have a better understanding of Ezekiel 38 and 39 . I will be using your website for study help. Thanks, Don
Reply from JPN: Yeah... crazy times. Exciting though! Glad the Ezekiel 38/39 study helped you. Bible prophecy is more up to date than your daily news!

I thank God for teachers / preachers like you guys in this website, faithful and generous to take the time to teach and share God's Word. and His Love. I stumbled upon your website when I was seeking an answer to a question that I had. It was to me, God's promise when He said in Matthew 7:7-12, Seek and I found. P.S. I also enjoyed the side jokes in between your teachings too.
Reply from JPN: Oh that was all going great till you said you like my side jokes. Now I'm left wondering if you're unwell! Really appreciate the comment and pleased you found the answer to your question... and maybe a bit more. God bless!

As a new believer and studying the word for the first time your site is AWESOME. Really appreciate the great information, well-organized and easy to navigate site, and without asking for money (as so many sites do these days). THANK YOU and GOD BLESS. Looking forward to starting your study on the life of Daniel next!
Reply from JPN: First and foremost, awesome that you are a new believer - best decision you could have made! And thanks for the kind words on the site. Always pleasing to hear that it is easy to use with great info as that is definitely the goal You are doing well as a young believer if you have finished Ruth and Esther and onto Daniel! I'm redoing the studies on Daniel after Joseph is finished in a few weeks so you'll start to see new ones come through there soon. Blessings!

Chronology of the judgments in Revelation
|
I am leading a small adult Sunday school and we have been going through Revelation. I found your article on the chronology of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments and was impressed with the care to show specific scriptures that connect ideas. I also deeply appreciate the care you take in proposing the overlapping chronology idea. It is clear that you believe that God knows what He is doing even when we don't and that if we don't know, we should not assume a position. Thank you for your diligent work and this detailed resource.
I also enjoyed reading and appreciate "What we believe." Reply from JPN: Ha! Thanks Eric. Yeah, pretty sure God knows what he is doing even when we don't! Which is quite often Appreciate your comment and hope your Sunday school lessons go well. I've just finished going through Revelation myself so it's all on the website if interested.

I was just meditating on the line "poor and needy" afterwards I felt like looking the hebrew words for that but I feel if i have enough time in the future I am definitely going to learn hebrew but what importance do you think it has ,does it open an altogether a deeper view about old testament and what do you think about pictorial representation of hebrew letters I was blow away like you can easily understand what poor means using that but some people say hebrew words corresponds only to sound ,hebrew it definitely has something I feel because different people talk different about it
Reply from JPN: Hi, knowing the languages, whether Greek or Hebrew, give extra depth in understanding. It can certainly help in teaching and explaining nuances not picked up in the English. It doesn't make one more spiritual or closer to the Lord though. That is through the heart, not the head. And even without knowing the language there are all sorts of dictionaries/lexicons that do a good job in bringing out the depth of specific Greek/Hebrew words which are available to all. As to the Paleo Hebrew Script, I have only watched a few things on it and certainly not an expert. But, from what I have seen, some words seem interesting while others just mean nothing or are left very much open to one's interpretation. I have also seen linguistic scholars argue against it. None of the Bible writers, Jewish writers or Church fathers used that method. For me it is also far too imprecise and open to the person's own (sometimes wild) interpretation, so I would stick to what God's word actually says, than trying to use ancient pictures that are open to interpretation and abuse.
