Feasts of Israel

Excellent commentary on the feast days plus the mysteriously placed Leviticus 23:22, which you rightly suggest as symbolically
pointing to the Church Age. It also takes us to the Book of Ruth, another typological picture of the Church Age (note how Ruth "hides" under the cover of Boaz during the time of Israel's "threshing". Your support for a pre-Trib Rapture is solid. People imply MUST understand Daniel's 70 Weeks' Prophecy to get eschatology right and not put the Church in God's program for Israel. Conviced about Feast of Trumpets/Rapture, but Mt 24:36 is about 2nd Coming, not Rapture. |

Thank you Ian. I will surely tune in back I'm sorry if I am rephrasing my statement because I thought "counting" was not the right word....I was told that each person I brought to Christ becomes "my fruit". Therefore, I must "bear fruits" by bringing more to Christ. But somehow, just like not being able to speak in tongues, those words made me feel like a low-class Christian.. With my personality, I have a hard time engaging in conversations therefore struggled with the idea that I am not bearing fruits for Christ and that makes me feel down. Looking for the real TRUTH! God bless you, JPN!

John the Baptist the greatest of men
|
I believe John was the greatest because of his absolute obedience to God. Jesus asked to be baptized by him. John did no miracles, but had great influence. I have no hard evidence, but might John have baptized more people than Jesus and His disciples? The absolute holiness of John set him apart.

Good day,
I truly enjoyed your series and teachings. They are really insightful and full with spiritual truths. I recently graduated last year from Bible college after 4 years of studies. Please I would appreciate your prayers for God's wisdom. I am thankful that I was expose to you guys at Jesus Plus Nothing by Philip Harvey-Lewis a mentor of mine. Please continue to keep up the good work (Ephesians 2; 10). Reply from JPN: Hi Wilton, thanks for the kind words. Philip has mentioned you previously Congrats on graduating Bible College and I'll pray for God's direction and leading for your life. God Bless.

Thank you Ian for this wonderful teaching! This is the answer I have long waited for. You see, I too came from a Pentecostal church but eventually began to question their claim that I HAVE TO SPEAK IN TONGUES in order to show as evidence that I received the Holy Spirit. But like you, I never had that experience. The bible verses are indeed clear...not all has the same gifts. But may I ask another question? I have struggled with this for years...as an introvert. I was told that I need to BEAR FRUIT by counting each person I brought to Christ! Is this true? Need your help. God bless to JPN!!
Reply from JPN: Thanks... Really pleased it helped you! I'll include your question into my next message. So you'll have to tune back in

Matthew 24: 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So one can believe that before the Blessed Hope / Rapture takes place, God would have given all men every where the opportunity to repent, and to be Born-again.

Thank you I Gordon. I am in the middle of the Ephesians audio study and enjoying it very much! I look forward to this time of studying God's word. Years ago I printed out and studied the Nehemiah study and it was instrumental preparation for a difficult time that only the Lord knew was coming. It helped me to steer clear of a situation full of deception, it sounded a warning alarm. Ironically I found the study to prepare for an upcoming study my "former" church was going to have. Their study ended up to be all about human leadership pushing a pastor=CEO. I prefer Jesus plus nothing!

Wonderful lesson. Very in-depth with specific examples. Christian meat as opposed to milk. Very clear and insightful. I enjoyed it immensely and will borrow some of it for my sermon preparation. Thank you so much for the blessing.

I was looking for an answer to the question: What will be the role of the saint when Jesus returns to earth? The simplified answer, without a dogmatic doctrinal slant, was very helpful. Thank you!

You will never know this side of heaven how much your Yom Teruah article ( 17 pages worth of truth) has ministered to my Spirit & heart on a continual basis. You will never know how many times I have referenced it, and given this link to encourage and persuade others with your unique and gifted capacity to communicate simple, clear biblical truth about something so exciting and wonderful as our forthcoming glorification rapture/ resurrection peppered through the Bible.
May Christ remember you richly on that day of Bema gift/reward giving at your moment of his acknowledgement, dear soul. |
