I enjoyed reading the study. Realizing that we will be tested by the Lord is kind of a good feeling. Tests are helpful so that we can see where our weaknesses are and to see if we still need time to grow. It's fascinating how much I can relate this to being a homeschooling Mom of 4 children. Staying faithful to God during the practice and testing phase is important. Not because he requires it, but because it is based on a trusting relationship in knowing that our Father knows best and has great plans for us. We just need to submit to His authority rather than try to figure it out on our own.

I read your explanation of Judges 6 and I instantly felt through your explanation the Holy Spirit give light to his word in my heart. Your writing on Habakkuk 2 was really interesting. What I don't understand, why does the question of what is the first strophe in Habakkuk 2:6-20 can't be answered anywhere I have looked.
From what I have read, it makes them seem like a strophe and a woe are the same, but I know they are not.

Thank you so much for this. It is to me , a letter to my heart from the Holy Spirit himself. It is His message to me: a seed that has found soil. As a a result, the most terrible incident of my recent life which could have been the reason for disunity in between a brother in Christ and me, has resulted in thanksgiving and praise to God from me.... for this very painful incidence!.........it is my barrack full of fleas. At times, I have felt so bad that all I felt left for me was to leave my church, leave my friends, sell my home and move away to another part of the country BUT now thanksgiving

I am so grateful that I came across the story of Philemon. I will be teaching this the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It meant a lot to me to see how you related this to your own personal story of your family’s restoration. My family went through a similar situation. God is still working on us but much restoration has already taken place. He is restoring to us all the years that the locust has eaten away. Thank you so much .

Our Wednesday Night bible study have been studying 2 Kings 2 and ran across this study. I felt blessed that your study referred back to Paul's letter to the Philippians, because we just finished studying Philippians. that led us to study in Kings. Definately not a coincidence! I love how the Holy Spirit ministers to us.
