Your extrapolation about atonement only by blood quoting the stories in genesis ..God made skin for A and E out of an animal, sacrifice of Abel. .Leviticus 11, Abraham sacrificing a ram. ..all absurd, telling Jews they were wrong! There are so many time God of Hebrew Bible saying I DO NOT NEED (ANIMAL SACRIFICE) . CHRISTIANITY has been reduced to a blood thirsty religion, highlighting human violence, totally misunderstood interpretations by many religious Christians.
Jesus was CRUCIFIED, he did not die jumping off a bridge telling us “ hey I will die for ur sins” JESUS DOES REVEAL WHAT GOD .
Reply from JPN: Hi, have a read what the Hebrew prophet Isaiah said about the atoning death and sacrifice of the Messiah in Isa 53. It was also a Jew, John the Baptist, who rightly said of Jesus 'Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world'. Jesus said of His death that 'Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.' (Joh 15:13) That which you despise in the most incredible loving act ever. And it is something that the Jewish Rabbis of old knew the Messiah would do as well. For example, Rabbi R. Elyyah de Vidas wrote on Isaiah 53 saying
“The meaning of ‘he was wounded for our transgressions, ... bruised for our iniquities’ is, that since the Messiah bears our iniquities, which produce the effect of His being bruised, it follows that whoever will not admit that the Messiah suffers for our iniquities must endure and suffer for themselves.”
May God bless you and I pray you will one day see that He died for your sins as well.

I was struggling with how to love as I feel like I don’t know how. The realization that I must remember how God loves me and chased after me until he clothed me in salvation finally got through to me. Now I need to pass on that “love”. Thank you for the explanation. In love
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah, anything that we have to give others comes from the overflow that God pours into our lives. So understanding His grace and love is really important - I'm pleased that 'clicked' with you! God Bless.

Started reading the book of Esther since Sunday, without any real insight just reading and praying.
This morning came across this site and am happy that I have more in-depth look into the book of Esther.
Thank you for this.
Reply from JPN: Great - Yeah it is an awesome book. Especially when you see how relevant it is to the Christian life. Greetings to Papua New Guinea!

Loved your psalm 23 Bible study, it has encouraged to start the others and pressing in to Jesus especially during these times.
Reply from JPN: Yeah... exactly. These are the times that we want to be settled in Him and know the Lord as our Shepherd. Glad it helped point you back to Him and this important truth!

Beautifully said! In Acts 5:1-11 many false teachings try to explain what isn't revealed in scripture for us. You wonderfully state the truth in the promise of Jesus Christ. The only sin that leads to a permanent death is unbelief. Even in that we pray "I believe, help my unbelief" (Mark 9:24b). Thank you for continuing to encourage Christians to rely not on themselves but on Jesus Christ 100% in our salvation and sanctification and He will make our paths straight. Thank you again for your site!
Reply from JPN: Thank you. Yeah it is a dramatic passage causing some to assume what happens but it is important to just stick to what the word says, not adding or taking away from it. And yes, Jesus plus nothing! Smile

A comfort in helping me explain, “why I believe, what I believe!” Jesus cannot lie.
Your site helps me explain to others.
Thank you!

I would love to lead a Bible study on this with our women’s Bible study at church. Is there a Bible study book?
Reply from JPN: Hi, there are just the studies on the website, no book. But they make for a great study so go for it!

I am struggling so much with the fact even though I have breathe in me, its too late for me to give myself to Jesus or God! please help I don't want to be lost, Please!
Reply from JPN: Hi, I'm sorry to hear that but that is what the enemy would have us think. Don't underestimate the grace of God. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble and He will never turn away someone that humbly acknowledges their need of salvation and Him. Grace is always there for those who do so. God desires that people are saved. The thief on the cross that turned and believed and found salvation shows that we can come even with our last breath... if we repent and acknowledge our need! Trust in God's promises even for yourself. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God. I would encourage you to read a gospel like the book of John and note down every promise of God concerning salvation for those that believe. Then apply it to yourself. It is a very well known verse but read John 3:16 and see if there is any reason why that can't apply to you. You will find it does apply... if you believe! Also read about King Manasseh in 2 Chron 33 and note how gracious God was to someone very wicked, once he repented. God loves you. Don't believe the lie that holds you back from returning to Him!

Very uplifting explanation. A must READ in order to relate Spiritual meaning to 2 Kings and other Bible books that appear to be "stories" or history.
Reply from JPN: Thanks and yeah, God always puts His 'stories' in there for a specific reason, pointing to Jesus and our life in Him. Blessings.

I've been having thoughts that I've been trusting myself instead of Jesus. I keep having thoughts saying that accepting Jesus saved me, or being obedient saves you. I know accepting Jesus saves you, but I feel like im pointing to myself and not him. Therefore I'm trusting myself. I've welcomed him many times, I know he died for my sins, rose from the dead, I know my God-given faith is in him, but I still don't know if im truly trusting in him or myself. I think I can't trust myself and need Jesus, but then I think I'm trusting in my trust, NO CLUE! I honestly have no idea, my mind just wanders
Reply from JPN: Hi Levi, sounds like you might be over thinking it, tying yourself in knots there! I've written on similar questions here which should help. God bless!

Just to ask you have u followed any Christian minister where everything they say connects with u but on certain topic you may feel doubtful that whether this person is certainly aligned his teachings on Bible... any experiences ? For me it was Benny Hinn because he used to share things about holy spirit which I had already know and experienced but today I realised he is a word of faith minister which says like money is a gift of god everyone can have it idk this is wat prosperity gospel is ? If prosperity gospel which seems to be a lie can his other teachings be also incorrect?
Reply from JPN: Hi, there are ministers that I enjoy which I may disagree on some points with but nothing on the scale of the word of faith / prosperity gospel. That isn't just a minor. It isn't the gospel. So we all have to be Bereans in what we hear (Acts 17:11) With Hinn, he seemingly repented of teaching the prosperity gospel in 2019 (which many were pleased, though somewhat skeptical, to see at the time) but there are several videos after that with him saying the same old rubbish. A little leaven leavens the lump (Gal 5:9) and this isn't even a little leaven. It is a false gospel - don't have anything to do with it or him.

I am The Biblical Messiah Shaina ODonnell The second coming of Christ is upon us Durango Colorado fall 2024. God Lord Almighty Yahweh showed up in my room December 4 th 2020.
Reply from JPN: Well, if you think you are the Biblical Messiah then you certainly are 'a' fulfillment of Bible prophecy for Jesus said about the end times:
Mat 24:5 "Many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many.
Mat 24:11 "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.
