Ruling with Christ
|
As I was studying Ephesians 2 , I was contemplating the implication of being seated with Christ. Which means acting (in conjunction) with Christ from a place of authority (throne) to rule (reign). Therefore, I began to think on those scriptures which speak of the believers role in the Messianic Kingdom. I googled a question about Christians reigning with Christ; and your web page was the first to pop up. Thank You for all you do to prepare us be grounded in God's Word.
Reply from JPN: Pleased that it helped. There is also a full series on the book of Ephesians if interested. Blessings!

I liked how you pointed out when John saw the glorified Christ in chapter one, that Christ wasn't wearing a crown because He is our High Priest, but wears a victor's crown in chapter 14 as he defeats Satan and his hosts and then the Kingly crowns in chapter 19. Very cool. Thanks!
Reply from JPN: Thanks Janet - there are a lot of things like this, that God puts in the finer detail, that we often miss... but are great when you spot them!

I am loving the series on Daniel. I finished Nebuchadnezzar's Dream & the times of the Gentiles. I like that you pointed out that the stone cut without hands instantly destroys these kingdoms with the 2nd coming of Christ, not a gradual conversion of the world to the truth of Christianity. You state that this is what is meant by times of the Gentiles being fulfilled and Luke 21:24 certainly seems to agree. Paul alludes to another definition in Romans 11:25 that Israel has partial hardening to accept the Gospel until the full number of Gentiles has come in, implying a certain # of believers
Reply from JPN: Thanks, glad you are liking it and I'm certainly enjoying studying Daniel again. And yeah... Jesus takes this world suddenly and unexpectedly (for the unbeliever) at His 2nd coming.

Thank you for directing me to other ministries like Moriel Ministries and the Berean call. I know they teach from a place of purity and anyone who claims they were taught by Jesus can be truly trusted.
Out of curiosity, does your website not have a tagline like Moriel Ministries or the Berean Call? Reply from JPN: You're welcome. They are both from 'back in the day'. I especially appreciated Dave Hunt @ the Berean Call before he went to be with the Lord. Many say they are taught by Jesus, but what Dave always stressed, as scripture does, is the importance of being a 'Berean' and going back to God's word to see if what was said is actually taught there. Even if someone puts a 'thus saith the Lord' on it... Go back to the scriptures to check as stated in Acts 17:10-11. Blessings!

Chronology of Revelation

I wanted to edit my last response on your article on the Mystery of the Two Comings regarding the story of Joseph in Egypt. I had been reading several of your studies on the rapture and have learned so much and meant to compliment you on those. However, the Joseph in Egypt story, like your title is about the 2 comings of Christ, not particularly the rapture but the relationship between Christ and the house of Israel and was absolutely wonderful and informative. I also liked your analysis on the chronology of the Book of Revelation - it does make more sense with the overlapping. Thanks!
Reply from JPN: Thanks again

Paul's Gospel was of GRACE and Peter's REPENT

That last comment is not true either. The only one KJB Holy Bible which is The Word of God states " 7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel OF the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel OF the circumcision was unto Peter;
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles ![]() Every other verision ASIDE from the King James Bible replaces the OF to TO.... making them the same.... The Gospel of the Uncircumcision and the Gospel OF the Circumcision which means there are 2. The Gospel of GRACE! Reply from JPN: Hi, thanks for the comment though certainly not KJV only believers here. Gal 2:7 is better translated 'to' or 'for', not 'of' (as the KJV has), which even the NKJV corrects. One way, one Lord, one gospel.

I have a doubt sir , I generally feel idolatary means anything that moves your heart from god it's a Bible verse
One form of it is bowing or worshipping statutes or others god which Bible says like on every high hills and green tree But idk why israel was so passionate about it like even after seeing god being gods people I feel it's impossible to do that Is god is talking more when he is talking about this which we could relate which was problem of Israel or what do you think was actually happening with them to do those things????? Thanks for everything on your Web site!! God bless you!! Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah idolatry is far more than just worshipping physical idols. Whatever takes the place that God should have becomes idolatry. Here are a couple of useful links:
https://www.gotquestions.org/idolatry-definition.html https://www.gotquestions.org/idolatry-modern.html Unfortunately the fallen human heart still gravitates towards idolatry in one form or another, even when witnessing the work of God, as Israel did both in the exodus and with the coming of Jesus. The heart is desperately wicked and deceitful as scripture says, so we always need to be watchful on what our hearts are getting drawn to. |

Thank you for your study. Respectfully I would encourage the study of "This Age and the Age to Come". This is Jesus' outline for eschatology. It is simple, clear and renders certain things ( like 2 future comings of Christ, Rapture and 2nd coming) not biblical. If you care to discuss this feel free to reach out to me on FB and I will share my phone number. I believe you will find this study helpful and am confident I would learn much from you. May our Lord continue to bless and use you. Jack
Reply from JPN: Thanks for the comment though there is a clear difference between Jesus coming for His bride in the clouds (as a fulfillment of the wedding model) and His coming with His church to save Israel and setup His kingdom on Earth at the second coming. Trying to roll in all into one brings confusion. Blessings.

Still in the process, When God gives a promise He often allows the opposite to happen before the real deal. What will I do? Keep trusting and believing until it happens. pray like my life depends on it. Help me Lord.
Reply from JPN: Hi, yeah sometimes things get worse because God wants to give us a greater experience of Himself (for example, Pharaoh not letting go, and then chasing the Israelites before the Red Sea!) So keep trusting and giving thanks. Read and follow Phil 4:4-9 as much as you can. And always remember that there are things we can only learn in the times that test our faith. Charles Spurgeon once said 'I have learned to kiss the waves that throw me upon the rock of ages!' Thank Him that He can make something good out of this testing time. Blessings!
