The parable of the wedding feast
|
I was looking for information about Matthew 22 and your site came up in the search. Thanks so much for helping me to understand about the man without a proper wedding garment. That was basically what I wanted to know, but I did read the entire article and it was very easy to read and helped so much. God bless you!!!

Revelation 12

Hi there, this is my 2nd time to write to you. Appreciate the study very much. However, something caught my eye today that concerns me. You wrote that the child is Jesus and that is VERY TRUE. There is only one person who was caught up and who will rule the nations with an iron scepter, and that is Jesus. Yes true that harpazo means rapture, but this does not mean the church. The Church or 144,000 is never told that we will rule nations with an iron scepter. That role belongs ONLY to Jesus the ruler of the nations and the scepter-wielding Lion of Judah. Not enough space to write more....
Reply from JPN: Hi Lori, nice to hear from you again and hope things are going ok in Israel in these difficult times. Often imagery such as this can have cyclic patterns of fulfilment. So in this case, Jesus is the primary fulfilment, but the Church is also given the promise, by Jesus Himself, that she shall have authority over the nations in the Messianic Kingdom and shall rule them with a rod of iron (or iron scepter in the NIV) - see Rev 2:26-27. Thus, some Bible teachers (and I quoted H.A Ironside in the study as one who believes this) see a repeated fulfilment of Rev 12:5 in both Jesus and His body, the Church. It is one of those issues where people can see it differently and that is fine. But this is the position I take. Blessings to you and Israel!

Unleavened Bread, the meaning
|
This is so inspiring! I had no idea of the significance of unleavened and how it played such a role in the celebration of communion. I was searching for the significance and what exactly unleavened bread was after reading about the first Passover in Exodus 12. God lead me to this place and for that I am so thankful.
Reply from JPN: Great, pleased to be of help there! The feasts in general are often overlooked by Christians but each is full of spiritual significance. Good on you for wanting to dig deeper!

Creation Week

Exactly what I was looking for our creation in predestined by God. What a blessing we are not an accident of evolution. What a glorious future is in store for those that love Christ. May that be our prayer and hope that all will come to faith before and the great and glorious day of the Lord. We walk into uncharted evil times by we are commanded by our Father not to fear but to take refuge in His promises. Who is faithful and just to keep his word ever when we fail he will be there for us. Sin and death are defeated and eternity awaits us.
Reply from JPN: Thanks Don - lots of great comments there. It is hard to comprehend "fullness of joy" in His presence but it will be a reality for those that love Him. Blessings!

Reply from JPN: That's great, thanks. Yeah, no story in His word is there without purpose. And each story is its own parable, there to teach some spiritual truth. There are many layers in God's stories!

Reply from JPN: Thought for a moment you were going to say that the audios help you go to sleep each night! Thanks for letting me know about Daniel 4's sound. I know why it sounds a little different. I can't change that one now but will sort it going forward. Thanks - really appreciate the feedback.

Wow!!! Thank you so much for taking your time to share this information. I'm studying about the Tabernacle as well and I came across your MUCH NEEDED article. It was really helpful and gave me more understanding about God's intentions of the Tabernacle and in relation to Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work!
Reply from JPN: Nice, thanks Keisha - glad you picked up the connection to Jesus as everything points to Him and if we miss that we miss God's main point!

what a shame you use the bible for political purposes.
you have to bad mouth Obama when studying the bible. this is heresy and proves you know nothing. the anti-christ will come like a thief in the night and will be adored by those who think he is Christ like. obviously the ant-Christ won't obviously come as some political figure that conservatives dont like. he will come as a wolf in sheep's clothing Rev 13:3-4 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Reply from JPN: Hi Bill, you haven't understood the context or what I am saying. The example is around the power of his speech - not that he is the A/C. His powerful speeches led even a seasoned journalist like Barbara Walters, who is used to listening to politicians, to say that she (and fellow journalists) thought he was going to be the next Messiah. So it gives a useful modern day example pointing to how the A/C will sway the masses through the power of his speech. And no, using a modern day example or mentioning a politician to illustrate a point isn't 'heresy'.

I am so happy to have found your site. I have been doing my own personal study in Isaiah because I want to understand why and how the Jewish people refuse to see Jesus as their Messiah. I was looking to see how contemporary Rabbis explain Isaiah 56-10, I have not found an answer yet. I am hoping that is I can increase my knowledge God might use me to share the truth with Jewish people. Your site is wonderful and I will be sharing it with my friends and prayer warriors.
Reply from JPN: Thanks Samantha, glad you are enjoying the site There are some resources here that should help:
