Exactly what I was looking for our creation in predestined by God. What a blessing we are not an accident of evolution. What a glorious future is in store for those that love Christ. May that be our prayer and hope that all will come to faith before and the great and glorious day of the Lord. We walk into uncharted evil times by we are commanded by our Father not to fear but to take refuge in His promises. Who is faithful and just to keep his word ever when we fail he will be there for us. Sin and death are defeated and eternity awaits us.
Reply from JPN: Thanks Don - lots of great comments there. It is hard to comprehend "fullness of joy" in His presence but it will be a reality for those that love Him. Blessings!

Reply from JPN: That's great, thanks. Yeah, no story in His word is there without purpose. And each story is its own parable, there to teach some spiritual truth. There are many layers in God's stories!

Beginning in February, my Bible study group will be listening to the new Daniel Study. Your studies have meant a lot to me over the past years and incidentally I do “footnote”. I particularly love digging deep and especially the application. I thank my God in every remembrance of you.
Reply from JPN: Oh... I better get my skates on and get a few more messages up! : ) Thanks for the kind words and appreciate the support and prayers!

what a shame you use the bible for political purposes.
you have to bad mouth Obama when studying the bible. this is heresy and proves you know nothing.
the anti-christ will come like a thief in the night and will be adored by those who think he is Christ like.
obviously the ant-Christ won't obviously come as some political figure that conservatives dont like. he will come as a wolf in sheep's clothing
Rev 13:3-4 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.
Reply from JPN: Hi Bill, you haven't understood the context or what I am saying. The example is around the power of his speech - not that he is the A/C. His powerful speeches led even a seasoned journalist like Barbara Walters, who is used to listening to politicians, to say that she (and fellow journalists) thought he was going to be the next Messiah. So it gives a useful modern day example pointing to how the A/C will sway the masses through the power of his speech. And no, using a modern day example or mentioning a politician to illustrate a point isn't 'heresy'.

I am so happy to have found your site. I have been doing my own personal study in Isaiah because I want to understand why and how the Jewish people refuse to see Jesus as their Messiah. I was looking to see how contemporary Rabbis explain Isaiah 56-10, I have not found an answer yet. I am hoping that is I can increase my knowledge God might use me to share the truth with Jewish people. Your site is wonderful and I will be sharing it with my friends and prayer warriors.
Reply from JPN: Thanks Samantha, glad you are enjoying the site Yes There are some resources here that should help:

Hello,
I was born and raised christian my whole life and still attend the same Baptist Church. Last year I began to be plagued with doubts and fears of my salvation and hell. I still haven't been able to get rid of them. Ive prayed and prayed and asked God for help and they wont go away. I have always believed in God, and Jesus as my Savior and I have asked Him to save me probably a dozen times but how do I know if I am believing enough? I want so badly to know Im saved and I want to focus on praising God more rather than always be afraid. I hate being scared and doubting.
Thank you.
Reply from JPN: Hi, I often quote something Corrie Ten Boom said:
"Look around and be distressed, look inside and be depressed, look at Jesus and be at rest."
Faith comes by hearing God's word (Rom 10:17) and is always outward focused. Not faith in whether you believe enough. Watchman Nee wrote "All temptation is primarily to look within; to take our eyes off the Lord and to take account of appearances." Rest and peace comes by focusing on what Jesus did to pay for our sins and the promises God has made to us because of this, by His grace and not our works. I have written a few Q&A's for others that have had similar questions here:

Why don’t I feel guilt or remorse when I sin anymore? Lately, I’ve found myself falling into sin more often, and something feels different. In the past, I used to experience a deep sense of guilt and remorse when I sinned. That feeling would drive me to repentance and help me realign with God. But recently, that sense of conviction seems to have disappeared. This change troubles me deeply. It’s caused me to question my spiritual standing. Have I lost my salvation? Has the Holy Spirit left me? Could it be that I’ve committed the unpardonable sin, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? How can I fix
Reply from JPN: Hi, the Holy Spirit doesn't leave the believer when we sin but we are told not to grieve Him (Eph 4:30). We are also not to be 'hardened' by the 'deceitfulness' of sin (Heb 3:13). Sin is deceitful becomes it promises something tempting and ultimately ends up taking, not giving, leaving one empty. If it continues the Lord can discipline us - but this is in love as our Father, to draw us back to Him (Heb 12:1-17). You obviously do care about it given you have written in. The starting place is to acknowledge your sin (1 John 1:9) before your heavenly Father and that without Him you will fail and can do nothing (John 15:5). And do the things you did at the start of your relationship with the Lord again. (Rev 2:5) That way you abide in Him and will be strengthened by His life in you, not fulfilling the desires of the old fallen nature. (Gal 5:16) Also have a look here about the unpardonable sin as this scares some believers who don't understand what it is:
